How to Export Apple iCal to CSV & Excel

Apple Calendar stores events natively in iCalendar format. Follow these steps to export your Mac or iCloud calendar events into a CSV file.

Exporting from macOS Calendar App

  1. Launch the Calendar app on your Mac.
  2. In the sidebar, click on the specific calendar you wish to export.
  3. Click File in the top menu bar, then choose Export > Export...
  4. Save the .ics file to your Desktop or Downloads folder.
